These are getting more and more difficult to find every day! Each lamp has a solid wood base and is in working condition. Some of the bases are even covered with astro turf. Please refer to the pictures to see which are or are not. Each lamp is constructed using Authentic Vintage NFL Riddell Kra-Lite Game Helmets. These helmets were produced by Riddell for game use, but instead never saw the field. They are the exact same helmets that were worn on the field in NFL games. They were manufactured in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Each helmet has had the inside suspension padding removed and retains the authentic leather jaw pads, authentic thin mil team decals, and classic 2-bar facemask so that they make an absolutely stunning display. These are great for autographs of your favorite "old school" player too! Please note that there are multiple pictures of each helmet lamp so that you may get the best possible idea of the condition of the lamp and helmet. PLEASE NOTE: WE MAKE NO GUARANTEE AS TO THE SAFETY OF OPERATING THESE LAMPS. They do work, but are constructed according to the electrical safety standards of the time in which they were built. ALSO, PLEASE NOTE: NONE OF THESE HELMETS COMES WITH A LAMP SHADE. Shades must be purchased separately by you. The original shades did not last because of wear and tear over the years. One thing is for sure, there aren't many of these out there, and let's face it, you can't just drop by the department store to pick one up.
